Day 1
Lefkada Island

When visiting Greece, you might start from the port of Lekada, or Lefkas on the island of Lefkas. This island has a swing bridge and causeway at the north eastern tip, connecting it to the mainland.  When you arrive at the part, you will board your yacht and meet your captain and crew. This is also a great tie to meet with your chef and discuss any special issues you want made available before you set sail.  After you have settled in, you can always walk around the town of Lefkas and enjoy the sights, but we suggest you eat on board your yacht. The chef will repaper you an amazing first night meal under the stars.

Lefkada Island

Lefkada or Levkas is the capital of the island of Lefkas, located in the North East where a causeway and swing bridge joins the Island to the Mainland of Greece.  You can board your charter yacht in mid-afternoon but departure is not until the next day. Dinner is served on board that night in the harbour.Lefkas fulfils a few functions including the centre of commerce as well as the top tourist location. If you want a quiet time, perhaps you should move on to some of the small villages on the Island? Otherwise there are plenty of bars and restaurants with information packs providing more detail.

Day 2
Preveza

Preveza is a beautiful location that makes you think you arrived on an island. This feeling is strengthened when arriving on board a yacht. The town of Preveza is home to some amazing restaurants, taverna and bars, all of which are packed within a neo-classical style, providing you with an eclectic architectural jumble that sings harmoniously with its surroundings. The local cuisine is also eclectic, and you will find every meal and dish readily available, served with either the finest local wines or wonderful Ouzo.

Preveza

Preveza will make you think you’ve reached an island, particularly if you arrive by yacht. Buy an ear of grilled corn from a sidewalk vendor and walk along the seaside esplanade where cafes and restaurants are sandwiched between neoclassical buildings. In the pedestrianised centre you’ll come across surprises at every corner; bookshops with the latest editions, belle epoque teahouses, outdoor tables overflowing with tasty titbits, cosy bars, restaurants and avant-garde photoshops.

Day 3
Parga (Mainland)

Just 25 miles northwest of Preveza nestles the lovely town of Parga. This small town is dominated by a large Venetian castle that sits prominently over the peninsula, and acts as a man-made landmark for sailors. The area has a number of interesting sites and relaxing beaches, however anchoring off shore is limited, and you will be able to berth in Ormos Valtou which is just northwest of Parga, since they have good protection from the winds.

Parga (Mainland)

Parga is 25 miles North West of Preveza and 15 South East of Igoumenitsa.  An impressive Venetian castle dominates not only the town but also the peninsula, acting as a landmark on your arrival. The only real berth for visiting yachts is to the North West Ormos Valtou where there is the long beach West of Parga. There is good shelter from the prevailing winds.

Day 6
Antipaxos Island

Antipaxos, or as it is more commonly known to tourists, Antipaxi is an sparsely populated paradise in the Ionian sea and sits just opposite from the island of Paxos, hence the name Antipaxos. Legend has it that Poseidon touched Corfu with his trident, and created a home for himself and his consort. The island is now covered in orchards, vineyards and a few farmsteads. The beaches are mostly untouched and the island is  one of the nicest places to anchor off and enjoy a quiet piece of heaven. The locals produce their own wines, so you might enjoy a local brand while relaxing by the sea.

Antipaxos Island

Antipaxos or Antipaxi belongs to the Ionian Group of Islands; it is in fact the smallest of them. Legend has it that the Islands were formed when Neptune touched Corfu with his trident, thereby separating a tiny island as home to himself and his consort, Amfitryti. There is a small harbor, Agrapidia, from where there are trails leading to the interior of the island. There are isolated cottages, orchards and fields of vegetable and herbs. Antipaxos also produces its own wines from the extensive vineyards, a red that regularly receives the approval of visitors.
