Andros Island
The beautiful island of Andros Greece offers traditional and lovely villages. Some of those are perched on the slopes of the mountain, among many trees and water sources and consist of stone constructions. Others are amphitheatrically built near the sea according to the traditional Greek cycladic architecture. The superb fortified capital of the island, Chora, propose a combination of Venetian architecture and cycladic one.
Andros is an island of Greece with many beautiful sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Many of those beaches are proposing sun beds, umbrellas and water sports rentals but the island also have large sandy beaches empty of every touristy facilities, offering their unspoiled and wild beauty. Deserted small coves can also be found around the island.
Nightlife in Andros Greece is not as intense as other islands of Greece (Mykonos, Santorini, Paros or Ios) but it has many nice places to offer proposing a wide range of music and drinks until dawn. During week ends bars and clubs get very lively because of the many Athenians coming for those two days.
